When attending any lacrosse events/camps at Hobart, please remember the following are required:

Footwear

  • Cleats
  • Basketball/Cross Trainers
    • In addition to cleats, players must bring shoes that can be worn inside on our sports court surface and on our field hockey/astro turf field. Cleats with molded spikes cannot be worn inside or on our field hockey field.

Lacrosse Equipment

  • Mouth piece is required. You cannot play without a mouth piece
  • All equipment & protective gear

The Hobart Lacrosse Overnight Camp is known as one of the premiere instructional camps in the sport of lacrosse. Campers are taught the skills needed to take their game to the next level. They are separated by age and skill level to challenge campers and encourage competition. Campers sleep in either Caird Hall or Decordova Hall and eat in SAGA. Instructional sessions and games are played in the Poole Family Sports Dome as well as St. Clair Fields, & McCooey Field. Hobart has one of the oldest and most successful college lacrosse programs in the country winning 16 National Championships and having 151 Statesmen named to All-American honors.

CAMP STAFF 

This camp is designed to offer an amazing camper to staff ratio where players will receive extensive coaching and skill development from college coaches, high school coaches and current college players. This low camper to coach ratio will maximize their experience. The camp staff will provide D1 shooting demos, D1 stickwork demos among other fundamental skills and drills to advance your game. The Hobart Lacrosse Overnight Camp staff is committed to teaching the highest level of lacrosse education and the growth of the sport in upstate New York.
